Do's and Don'ts with Essential Oils
Some products may not be
pure or natural. You need to be selective when buying
essential
oil products.
Always check the labels and check the ingredient list
for any fragrance oils or
chemical
components. You can also check if the oils are organic.

Be very careful when all oils are sold for the same price. You will
find with essential oils it is
very
rare for them all to be priced the same. Also check for
manufacturing dates or expiry dates,
as
most oils lose properties if sitting on a store's shelf
for years.

Do not expose Oils to sunlight and always store in dark glass
bottles. Wooden boxes may be
used
to store these bottles.

Never store Oils in plastic bottles or bottles with rubber
tops.

Use an eyedropper to measure them before use. Use a different
dropper for each oil.

Always pay attention to the safety information for all of
the oils that you use, especially if you
know
that you have any medical condition.

Do not consume Oils internally.

Test for skin irritation or allergies before using an
Oil.

Always use the least amount of oil to get the most done.

Oils are flammable

Always label the container clearly.

Keep out of the reach of pets and children.

Store in cool dark places.

Never use essential oils undiluted unless directed. Be careful with
all oils on fabric, carpet or
furniture.
